Rockford Systems Inc. offers its double-wheel and single-wheel grinder shields. The double-wheel grinder shield provides protection for both wheels of the grinder with one continuous shield. The shield is made of clear, 3/16-inch-thick polycarbonate and measures 18 x 6 inches. A shield bracket adds stability to the top of the shield. The single-wheel grinder shield is made of 3/16-inch-thick polycarbonate and measures 6 x 6 inches. Two different sized arms are available. Both the double- and single-wheel grinder shields have two mounting options: direct or magnetic. The direct-mount base can be fastened directly to a grinder table or pedestal. The magnetic base has a 3-inch-diameter magnet with 80-pound holding force that can be secured to a flat ferrous mounting surface.
