Rig Release with Radio Remote Control
The Caldwell Group offers its Rig-Release remote release hook with radio remote control. The unit is designed to set loads at any height, then release the rigging from the ground or crane cab by pushing a button. The user hooks the unit to a crane or other lifting device, attaches the lifting sling and rigs the load. Once the load is set and the load line is slack, users can activate the remote control to release the sling.
