TORNOS Acquires Almac and Almatronic
Almac produces CNC machining equipment used on parts for the medical, dental and semi-connector industries.
Tornos Group (Moutier, Switzerland) acquires a 95 percent share of Almac SA and 100 percent of Almatronic SA, both in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Almac manufactures CNC machining equipment for small high precision parts in the medical, dental and semi-connector industries. Almatronic specializes in CNC controls and programming used in Almac machines. Both Almac and Almatronic will remain independent entities. To maximize availability to the market, their products are available through Tornos’ existing sales and service network. www.tornos.us
